On November 21st Halifax’s Jenn Grant and Kingston’s Kyra and Tully will share the stage for an eagerly anticipated concert that promises to be one of the Limestone City’s most magical shows of the year.
Jenn Grant, the beautiful orchestral pop singer will be in Kingston in support of her latest record, ‘Echoes’. Arriving after a busy month which will have seen her play shows in New York at CMJ, at Halifax Pop Explosion, a couple of dates with Hawksley Workman in the Eastern US, and finally, a one-off show in Los Angeles. She will headline the CD Release concert for Kingston’s own Kyra and Tully . Kyra and Tully will release their new album, ‘Wildlife (in and out of the city)’ which features some incredible songs that are sure to capture the hearts of music-lovers everywhere.
Bruce Cockburn will be making a guest appearance Tickets are 12$ in advance (15$ at the door) and are available at Queen’s Performing Arts Office (JDUC), Zap Records, Tara Foods, and Brian’s Record Option. Children under 12 get in free.

The Live Wire Music Series caps off their 2009 program with a dance at The Portuguese Cultural Centre on Sat. Nov.21 featuring the spectacular and award-winning Vancouver band Delhi 2 Dublin. This dynamic Punjabi/Celtic fusion band was recently awarded World Recording of the Year honours at the Western Canada Music Awards and is known for its dazzling and theatrical live performances.

Jingle all the way from Springer Market Square to light up City Park on the Jingle Bell Walk event. It begins with free skate accompanied by the Open Voices Choir at 6 p.m. at Springer Market Square - then walkers can grab a hot chocolate for the 10 minute Jingle Bell Walk to City Park to meet the Parr Christie Singers and turn on the festive (and energy-saving LED) lights on 45 trees.
