Once again, Scouts Canada - Loyalist Area will be holding their Annual Popsicle Stick Bridge Breaking Competition at Frontenac Mall on Saturday, April 6^th at 2pm.   Area Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers will be competing in the categories of "Best Design" and "Strongest Bridge".

In preparation for their annual competition, the Greater Kingston Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will be performing a Spring Concert at Frontenac Mall on Saturday, April 13th from 11am to 2pm in Centre Court.  This chorus is a group of talented women singing cappella in the musical art form of barbershop.

Mary Lambert will be 'live in concert' on Saturday, May 11th at 11AM SHARP for a fun-filled family show to celebrate MOM for Mother's Day weekend.

This VERY INTERACTIVE concert is designed for the entire family as Mary engages and amazes kids of all ages with her colourful props, dance and wonderful voice. An eclectic mix of well-known and original music including upbeat country, jazz, folk and boogies will get everyone involved. Kids and parents even help out on stage dressed in colourful costumes so that everyone can become a part of the show in an interactive and humourous manner. Everyone will leave these concerts feeling warm, uplifted and entertained. 

Juno Award Nominee, Mary Lambert, is a family singer/songwriter/performer, and outstanding Canadian artist in the children's entertainment field.  Her two Juno nominations and ten awards from the United States (Parents' Choice Award Winner, iParenting Award Winner, Preferred Choice Award Winner, and Dr. Toy, Best Children's Vacation Product Award Winner) are a remarkable testimony to her talent and artistry.  Her wonderful voice and colourful performances are filled with infectious music, sheer energy and lots of audience participation. Since 1993, Mary has toured and performed over 3000 shows at schools, libraries, music festivals and family focused events throughout Canada.  Mary Lambert Productions has released 12 CDs, and two live concert DVDs.
